My Philosophy

What makes a good photograph?

I've compared taking photographs to hunting. Although I am not a hunter, the patience and attention required to capture a good moment strikes me as similar with both activities. This is timing.
People look different in different photographs, slight shifts in tension of facial muscles can influence the reading of a person's emotions, and consequently the feeling of the image. Also, lighting. This is perhaps the most flexible and important ingredient in photography.
